I have the opportunity to adopt a beardie but what worries me is that i was told it was not determined if it was male or female but it was 10 months old its size was 7.75 is this normal? :?:

That is not normal but I don't think I would let the stunted growth stop you from adopting! with proper UVB and food your beardie will grow! I have a small beardie when I first got her I did everything that petsmart told me to do! When I found this site I found out it was all wrong ! she is on her way to getting bigger but she will never be a giant! but she is healthy and Happy! i just recently did a rescue and he was 6 inches and 6 months old. Now hes 9 inches and 8 months old! Just get some UVB and feed him losts. He will grow.

so stunted growth can be reversed or caught up?

yes and no. Your dragon will never get really big. He will always be small. but he will get bigGER.

I agree! If you can give that beardie a good home then I say go for it.Also do you know if tail length was included in that measurement?Does it have a full tail?

Im needing some questions answered about my female beardeddragon, I honestly have no idea on age , she was a recuse, as ive had a couple in my life an have experience. So 9 weeks in , she earing well pooping well getting comfortable, then approx 3-4 days ago the digging started. So I got a dig box set up in her 75 g tank. Well within 2 hours she dropped an egg. Now only one egg an its been 10 hours.shouldiBworried

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
