That was a good idea to bring yourself some "portable shade" while you were at Disneyland. That southern California sun can get pretty brutal even at this time of year. I had my share of sunburns when I lived there -- you'd think I would have known better by the time I left. We've had our fair share of snow this last couple of weeks -- my husband just finished shoveling the latest batch of it out of the driveway. Winter's not over yet -- we'll see what comes next. Sometimes we take better care of our reptiles than we do of ourselves, huh? I haven't seen Black Panther but the previews look pretty good. I've seen some of the XMen movies but not all of them. I like Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen, but I remember them as Captain Picard and Gandalf in Star Trek and The Lord of the Rings, too. Hopefully Broly is just having a few off days and nothing is seriously wrong. Puff has days like that sometimes. (Speaking of Puff, time to turn on the heat lamps...) Sometimes he sleeps half the day if I let him, and other times he gets right up, crawls out from under his towel, and looks at me like, "Do I get my Good Morning cuddle today?" My husband is always looking for an excuse to buy a new electronic gadget, but I keep telling him that since he's so good at making a "silk purse out of a sow's ear" (in other words, put together a computer that works reasonably well from leftover parts out of the trash), our place in the "electronic ecosystem" is not to have the latest and greatest, but to use up last year's models until they don't work at all, then recycle them. I suppose that his current employer appreciates his abilities, since they're a non-profit and can't afford to get the latest stuff all the time (or to pay him what he's worth, for that matter, but I digress...) -- anyway, I try to keep him away from the computer stores as much as possible.
