Hi, I'm wondering if it's normal that I've never seen my 6 months old bearded dragon puffing his beard. I tried just for fun to put a mirror in front of him and he didn't response. Also, I brought my beardie to my friend's house to see his reaction with another bearded dragon (6 months old also) and I found that my friend's beardie had all the normal behaviors (head bob, foot stomp, black beard thing) and mine was just either laying there or running away. I know maybe some of you guys will be against that but I was just curious of what would be his reaction. Anyway, do you guys think it's normal that my 6 months male bearded dragon doesn't response to another male bearded dragon?

When introducing two beardies, no matter of the sex, one will be dominant.
It just seems your male isnt.
This is nothing to worry about because ideally beardies should not be housed together.
A black beard and puffing are signs of displeasure and dominance.
You should be happy you have a laid back dragon.
