Bearded Dragon

My bearded dragon is about 7 years old and has a whitish discoloration on his back and head. I was told that this could be shedding sign in older dragons. He seems to be sluggish and has no appetite. I was told to give him a warm bath. This seemed to help but he still has some whitish discolorization and still no appetite.
I was also told that he could have a skin virus. Please advise.

how long have you had him?

sounds like shedding to me but do you have any pics we could see?

Yeah, it sounds just like a bad shed. Some beardies go on a little hunger strike or become a little lethargic during a shed so just offer warm baths daily until that he sheds that skin! Also, pics would be helpful just in case it's more than a bad shed.
