Bearded dragon suddenly drooling - beard and sides heaving

My bearded dragon is currently doing as it says in the title - I am panicking a little so this may not be coherent, but I have checked down his throat and couldn’t see a blockage - however, I didn’t get a good look. I’m very worried one of the locusts I gave him earlier has been too large and got stuck. Any advice on what I can do to make sure he is ok in the short term?

Since last night he has regurgitated the locust I thought was too large as well as most of his stomach contents, and also pooped. He is not looking as perky as usual but he is not drooling any more, and he has also refused food

O.K, the food lodged was the problem then. Just keep an eye on him, he may not eat for a day or two but when you do feed him offer smaller amounts and do so early enough in the day so that he has time to digest it and also be sure his basking temp. is proper, about 100 F. The cool end can be around 80F. Offer hydration today with a syringe dripping on hhis snout to see if he'll take a drink. He should [ most likely ] bounce back in a few days.

Thank you so much - as you say he is not eating, and his eyes are a little sunken in, but he is still running around his tank. We gave him a bath this morning and he had a drink from there. He is still pooping more often than normal (once or even twice a day in very small amounts) which I find a little odd considering I would have thought there is not much left in his stomach? I will take your advice - his basking temp and cool end are exactly as you suggested. Thank you so much

At least he did get the large locust dislodged, poor thing! Too large of food items are common
problems.
Since he has thrown up several times he is probably a little dehydrated. Will he take any fluids
at all?

Thank you all so much for your concern and help. He is back to normal now! He has been drinking from baths and is eating insects as normal.
