They were flabby and looked like jelly bean shape. She's wiped out. I took them out of her tank and she's in her hammock sleeping. I was wondering why she wasn't eating. Plus she's in a shed. My poor
Girl.
Give her a good drink, either by dripping on her nose or if she likes a warm soak, do that so she can have a drink. No longer than 5-10 minutes, then pat her dry + put straight back in the heat. Offer food anytime, she may not eat tonight but prob. will tomorrow.
Poor girl laying a lot of infertile eggs as well as being in shed. My girls always liked soaking in a bath after laying and would put their heads down to drink. Laying eggs depletes their calcium and also is dehydrating. Be sure to give her extra calcium as well as increasing her amount of feeders to help her recover quicker. Hopefully she will rest up tonight & eat a lot tomorrow for you.
Oh thank you beardie family. She's sleeping. I will give her a soak tomorrow and all good feeders and greens!! I have calcium liquid I gave her before I will do it every day.
As suggested, just be sure she gets plenty of calcium, leafy greens & protein to help
her to replenish her system. I am sure she is worn out, poor girl! LOL
Hopefully she wont lay anymore for awhile. Sometimes they can lay several clutches
so don't be surprised.
