Another Tail question/worry

I've always been worried about Hue's Tail, but wasn't sure until i kept reading all the scary stories lately! so i took some pics to see what you all thought. it's always been significantly darker, but i'm worried about retained shed etc.... He eats fine, never messes w/ it. just me worried i guess...

good. i know it sounds silly, but it actually seems darker to me then what's in the pics, but that might be just my imagination and when he's sunbathing or darker in general. just making sure!!!

Girl has this same issue! Hers is a little darker though, almost black towards the tip. I had it examined by a vet and everyone else here says that as long as the tail isn't stiff to the touch (flexible, still living tissue) then it's fine. Just keep a close eye on it!

Beardie's tail is almost black for about the last 2" or so. He is a light pastel color so it looks kinda odd, but it is still functional
