6 month old beardie suddenly mean

hello everyone,

My beardie is 6 months and today he started freaking out on me. will NOT let me pick him up, gets total black beard and runs from me..Then he'll sit, with his mouth open like he's ready to bite me. I dont understand it, hes always let me hold him. I dont do it too often cuz he tries to run if i sit him down, how will i give him his baths if he continues this? will I ever be able to hold him again? Its very sad

reptisun 10, basking area about 105..cool side around 80ish..ihavent changed any of that stuff, I did take out his favorite tree a few weeks ago, hes gotten so big he couldnt climb it to bask and it was sorta pitiful watching him try to scrap his way up there, so i put a log he had in there before back in...he seemed fine, that was several weeks ago...
