Foot resistant to medicine? + Twisted Toe.

The shot was in fact an antibiotic, but he gave her a low dosage and he tested for gout when I brought her in with this issue initially. They came back with negative results for gout or cancer. What about the toe? Should I try and do anything for it? Since that view doesn’t do it justice, I’ll...

Foot resistant to medicine? + Twisted Toe.

I took my 3 year old to the vet in April with a swollen leg/ankle and they gave me a shot to give her everyday for a month. Fast forward two months later she has the same issue so I use what is left until I can get until I can get to the vet and get another dosage of the shot. And finally now...

    Lower Back popping with movement?

Nearly two weeks later I think I found the actual cause behind the popping noises. He grew about an inch or so and developed broadened shoulders. I didn’t know that beardies could still grow past two years old, but maybe he wasn’t done yet. Who knows.

replaced light, beardie closing both eyes

It’s the PowerSun 160 Watt, the link was showing the different wavelengths of bulbs based on your dragon's distance from her basking spot. If she’s still closing her eyes try moving the lamp up a bit more if to see if she reacts differently. I’ve bought bulbs before that were the exact same...

replaced light, beardie closing both eyes

Do you have a different light you could try in the cage for now, if she’s running away from it I wouldn’t put her underneath it. I know the power sun bulbs are a little more expensive but you’re saving $24 in the long run on UVB’s since it has all the lights they need in one bulb and since she’s...

Picking the Best UVB for your Dragon/Cage

Many of us, myself included, have been told that we need a certain UVB bulb for our dragon to strive and that’s simply not true... Using this guide (https://zoomedwebsite-g10v9whlnw8q2qdmulwq.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/Choosing-Correct-UVB-Lamp-2018-07.pdf) you should be able to find the...

replaced light, beardie closing both eyes

There was an incident reported about a year ago (maybe more) over a certain bulb causing a dragon to constantly close his eyes (I can’t remember which brand it was sorry) so the owner placed his palm under the light in the place his dragon usually basked for around five minutes and he had a...

    Lower Back popping with movement?

So, as quickly as his symptoms started, they’ve practically gone away. I haven’t heard any popping whenever he moves his lower back to a certain degree then moves or moves his back with his lower legs and he’s not having any more liquidity bowel movements since I cracked the lid to his cage more...

Edward not eating much and loose stool

Sorry for your loss... I know it’s hard losing a friend that you’ve had for that long and I’m sure Edward knew you were doing everything you could to help him. The thing about Bearded Dragons is they hide true illnesses until it’s often too late to treat them so they’re not viewed as weak by...

    Lower Back popping with movement?

Yeah I called my vet’s clinic and he is out of the office today so he will look at him Monday.

Edward not eating much and loose stool

How’s the old guy doing right now? I heard that giving them a warm bath can have a calming effect on them especially during something like Pinworms. Try putting him in the tub and if you have a water temperature reader warm the water to 85-88, if not it should pass lukewarm in warmth. If he...

    Lower Back popping with movement?

Thank you for that link, this diet is easier to follow compared to picking and choosing from Beautiful Dragons’ foods that are healthy chart. What foods would be considered Vit/Min & Calcium? I figured out how to temporarily fix his humidity from 90% to 65% by cracking open the lid of his cage...

    Lower Back popping with movement?

He (Stevie) doesn’t have a medical history other than the wellness checkup I got for him the day I bought him... I looked him over at the store with the dragon buying guide but I wanted to be sure since I just lost a dragon a month earlier due to renal failure. His friend Sparky is a different...

    Lower Back popping with movement?

He doesn’t have any plants in his cage. He mostly sits on his two elevated rock steppers for basking purposes, even though he does have a mountain hide, log hide, and a step hide. The last time he passed a bowel movement was Tuesday, but it’s normal for him to go a couple of days without going...

    Lower Back popping with movement?

Update- I discovered another symptom when I gave him his food this afternoon. I noticed he was trying to poop and could only have a liquid movement and he did it again about 10-15 minutes ago. The only actual poop he took was about the size of 3 baby dubia roaches. The back popping looks like...

    Lower Back popping with movement?

He has the reptisun 10.0 UVB 13 watt and he’s right underneath it when he’s basking.I dust his dubias and give him sweet potatoes, carrots, red bell peppers, butternut squash, mustard greens, and apples. He just did it again while I was holding him and it seems like it only happens when he moves...

    Wonky Forelimbs/Mobility Problems

I found a thread from last year on cage decor for dragons with MBD if you’re still interested about the extra precautions you asked about in your initial post viewtopic.php?f=34&t=236141

    Lower Back popping with movement?

He still has the popping noises whenever he moves his lower body but he passed some large stools today and yesterday after his warm bath, they weren’t individual pieces but one big chunk, kinda like a minature KitKat. Here’s a picture of him from a Twitter account I made for him...

    Incubation

That’ll work fine. If you want you can use some clear kitchen wrap instead of the shoebox cover, it’ll hold the humidity better inside the shoebox and you can see inside to check on the eggs.
