When I say weird I mean that she had never been super high energy like alot of beardies. She has always been very alert and always had a big appetite so i was never concerned and she gets plenty of calcium and multivitamins. I read up on Ponazuri before I administered and read that it was...
So my vet outsources their fecal scans so it was done at Idexx labs and all they wrote was that the Coccidia count exceeded 30. I have already administered both dosages of the Ponazuril so whatever I do now is damage control. She has always acted weird since I had her but nothing serious and I...
Yesterday I turned in a fecal sample to my vet as part of their general checkup package. She was diagnozed with Isospora Oocysts/ Coccidia. They prescribed two treatments of a 1 ml. syringe of Ponazuril at a concentration of 14.2g. That may be incorrect because his handwriting is barely legible...
I will try to attach a picture. Her diet is a few dozen crix a week dusted with Repashy Calcium and I feed her dandelion greens and collard greens with some spinach kale and then I vary the fruits and veggies alot. The only weird thing she has eaten recently is some carrots. I have made a laybox...
My bearded dragon fat Amy has been actibg very weird lately and on another thread they said they thought she was gravid. She has never been with a male so they are infertile. She used to poop twice a week and now she is pooping twice a dya. In her poop today I noticed a weird yellow mass that...
My tank temps are all fine and my UVB is a Reptisun 10.0 mounted within the tank. So is this high activity a sign of immediate egg laying or is it a sign that she is just pregnant. I cant seem to find any very detailed info about bearded dragon pregnancy. I will make a laybox ASAP
I feed her a few dozen crixs a week and I dust them. I also have a much stronger Liquid calcium used for MBD that usually give her when she takes baths so that she will drink it without a mess.
My bearded dragon , Fat Amy awoke from brumation about a month ago. One week ago we took her to the vet for a General Checkup and he said she was in great health. However, over the last few days she has started acting very weird. She is much much more active than before and wont stop running...
Her temp has remained the same. I live in florida so we dont have huge fluctuations. I keep telling myself that it is probably brumation, but seeing her like this scares me.
My Bearded Dragon Fat Amy has been acting really wierd lately and I am very concerned. Her setup is as follows:
75 Gallon aquarium converted to terrarium
Substrate- foam cabinet mat.
Uvb- Reptisun 10.0 two months old
Basking spot- 100 degrees ambient is 84
She gets 3-4 dozen calcium dusted...
Please dont dismiss us. Your beardie may have had a bad shed but he is also suffering from MBD and malnourishment and he needs immediate and intensive treatment. Just adding new lights without proper care and supplementation will only prolong or worsen his condition. I understand vets can be...
You can use watered down vinegar to clean your cage or you can use a 10% bleach solution. Just make sure all the fumes are gone before you put your beardie back in.
It really depends how you interpret it but just keep in mind that that rule is for setting the maximum size of food you can feed your beardie and so if you are concerned you can always feed smaller insects.
As you said, Twitching is usually a sign of moderate to severe MBD but from the pictures your beardie looks very healthy and that doesnt seem to be the case at all. Also your setup sounds good but the cool side should be a little bit cooler IMO.You should probably switch off of Superworms...
I had something kind of similar in my bearded dragon after taking a long car ride that stressed her out but after that she pooped normal. That was 7 months ago. Has anything happened that may have stressed your beardie? Did you feed anything wierd? If she is eating and acting happy I would wait...
