    Been a while

Haven't checked in in some time. Life has been hectic but Gorbash is still living large. I think he looks pretty good at 3 years old. Thought he was small until I got him out to clean cage today. Had to put him in a 10 gallon while I did it . He does seem a little happier now though . Hope...

Atadenovirus or fatty liver? Please help!

115 is way too hot for the entire enclosure. My beardie doesn't seem to enjoy his basking spot over about 100-105 and the cool side of my terrarium goes down to the mid 80's (even a few degrees cooler than that inside the cool side hide). I know if my overall cage temp starts to get too warm...

    Update

The roaches are a big league success. Gecko and bearded dragon are eating them up like candy. Veiled Chameleon still just wants crickets.

    Dubia Breeder setup

Could you post a picture of your setup? Anyone else that has a good established colony of Dubia I would be interested in your setups as well. I am willing to invest a bit in establishing the colony but I need to keep my cost for establishing the colony and this months feeders under $100 if at...

    Dubia Breeder setup

Hey guys & gals :) Trying to work on my dubia breeders. I have a 20 gallon high aquarium and a big plastic tub I can use. I would prefer to use the aquarium but the cleaner beetles, and I would assume the dubias can climb the corners on the aquarium sealant. Is there a way to prevent this...

    Update

Not another bite Daddy or I'll explode :) Dubia roaches are amazing. He never went after crickets with the same voracity.

    West Coast Roaches

Is anyone on here familiar with Westcoastroaches.com ? I Made an order from them Friday and have been trying to get in touch with them ever since about the order. No response and no answer at the phone number listed. Hoping I hear back quickly, starting to think it was a scam site :(

    Baby beardie not eating?

I would setup the CHE next to the basking light unless you have a large enclosure. I'll check the boards again tomorrow and help if I can. :) Good luck and have a nice evening.

    Baby beardie not eating?

My thought process is a basking light is more natural. They will be attracted to both the light and the heat. As I said the CHE is great for night time warmth etc. as it doesn't give off light to keep them awake. How are you monitoring your temps as well? I try to keep my basking site about...

    Baby beardie not eating?

Has he pooed daily since eating the larger cricket? Also I didn't see where you listed a basking bulb (just the ceramic). My understanding is that the ceramic is used as a backup heat source especially at night or in cool times of year but the actual basking light was crucial to their digestion.

Want to set up dubia breeding colony

Ok, I want to set up a breeding colony of dubia that will support my beardie (about 2-3 month old), Veiled chameleon (about same age) and a juvenile leopard gecko. My question is would I be better just buying a large order and letting them age over time or a few breeding pairs and a small order...
