Can't stop the bleeding on my Leopard gecko's foot!!

Yep I did that too but even after that the shed is real stubborn coming off her toes. It looks like she is gonna lose at least 3 toes on that foot. Poor thing. She has always had trouble with the shed around her back feet but never this bad. My son and I take turns feeding her and our bearded...

Can't stop the bleeding on my Leopard gecko's foot!!

Ok whew I got it to stop bleeding finally. She has trouble shedding everytime even though I have a moss hide in there for her. It's super hard for me to hold her still long enough to pull the toe shed off though. I didn't catch it fast enough this time though and sadly she lost 2 toes. I'll keep...

Can't stop the bleeding on my Leopard gecko's foot!!

Hi, I know this is a bearded dragon site and I have one of those too but my poor leo is bleeding from her foot where the toes fell off from a bad shed. I went to feed her tonight and noticed the problem right away. I've been trying for an hour to stop it from bleeding by putting pressure on it...

    Steve's Story and New Home

I'm so proud of you for all that you did for him! Great job! I understand how hard it was for you to give him up too but thankfully it was to a rescue and not back to the school.

    please help, new owner here!

I'm glad you were able to get your little one to eat!?It's always nerve racking when they don't want to eat the stuff u offer. U should try Phoenix worms (also known as calciworms, reptiworms, and black soldier fly larvae) too. I've read they are extremely nutritious for our reptile buddies. :D

    please help, new owner here!

Hi, Welcome to the world of beardies! He or she is just getting adjusted to the new environment. They sometimes won't eat for the first couple of days. Just keep offering wax worms (but do so sparingly since they are high in fat) and small crickets. Be sure not to leave the crickets in...

    Acorn squash

Yay my little 3 month old beardie discovered that she likes cooked blended up acorn squash today! She's actually attacking it like its candy! This is the first I've seen her really eat veggies because before she would eat a piece of kale or collard once in a while so I'm so glad to finally find...

    How is this comfortable

Haa haa don't they though? It's so cute when they do silly things like that though. And that's my baby's favorite part of her whole enclosure. Sure she will climb on her hammock once in a while but most of the time she is on the rock.

    excavator clay

Can anyone tell me when it'll be safe to use the excavator clay in my beardies tank? Right now she is a juvenile who is roughly 3 months old. I have her on a reptile carpet right now because I've read it's one of the safest for young ones. I'm anxious to get my creativity on though cuz I have...

My new dragon Blaze! Plus photos!

Yeah I'm thinking this is normal for juveniles because my little Jewel will eat 6 or 7 crickets one day and only one the next day. And just keep handling him every day in a safe environment. He'll come around once he's used to you.

My beardie baby doesn't want veggies

Thanks for the quick response Cooperdragon! Ok I'll continue to do that. And at the moment the only insects I've got to feed her is crickets and an occasional wax work but I plan to order some Phoenix worms for both her and out leopard gecko.
