Bearded dragon gaping, lathagic acting different

Hi Tracie, she is doing better today. I have a ceramic bulb I can put on her cage. Today she ate 4 butter worms, 10-15 wax worms, 5 ish super worms, 2 small horn worms and some phoenix worms. So that's progress, on top of that she basked all day in her heat light, I noticed she keeps her left...

Bearded dragon gaping, lathagic acting different

I never heard of this until now, I've been looking everywhere to find something related to her symptoms and you may have just broke the mystery. I have a question, is it possible the mold in her plastic log make her sick? And gave her aspergillus? As stated above I was highly unaware she had...

Hi Tracie, yes unfortunately she is still breathing differently. Today I was holding her she had 4 consecutive coughs all in a row and I held her to me. When she sits in her basking spot she gets warm basks with her mouth open then when she gets too hot she moves to the corner. She is still...

I will try to get a video of the breathing. She eats 8 per days OR 1 hornworm. I try to stay away from super worms, she refuses to try any crickets. Sometimes butter worms and pheonix + wax worms are on her diet as well. It's an 18" I just replaced it two days ago.

Wobbly Walking for over a year

He does great, thanks for checking in. I have videos the day I got him, he didn't walk like that before so I must've been the one to cause it. Now I feel really guily that I bought the complete wrong bulb. I'm hoping that he will stop wobbling like this, I doubled out his UVB lights 'til I can...

Wobbly Walking for over a year

Awesome! Well thank you, I didn't realize butters cause liver problems from the fat. The more you learn! and I don't think he can eat roaches, his mouth rot prevents him from eating any hard shelled worms.

Wobbly Walking for over a year

Alright! Thanks, and I feed him wax and butters because he is a pretty skinny boy and I want to fatten him up! (he's 400 grams) I'll talk with my vet and see if they have maxiguard, I'll check petstores too. And what type of squash would you recommend? I'm unsure how to cook it etc. **EDIT** I...

Thanks! I don't have a t8 light fixture ( I have no where to put one in his cage without having to cut open the top which I may just do because they are better) I use a exo terra 10.0 UVB 12 watt bulb, he does get collards greens it's the only veggies he will really eat and sometimes kale (I...

Wobbly Walking for over a year

Hi guys, so this is Zeus. I've had him for a year now, when I got him he wasn't doing quite well and for the past year I've been going back and fourth to and from the vet for check ups, he is currently battling mouth rot we think his first ever owner who had him never took proper care. He is a...

    Coughing and or gagging sound

She passed away, it all happened so fast yesterday. She began getting malnutrition, she completely got dehydrated the vet tried to give her a needle full of water. She died last night at 12 AM, I tried everything but it hurt so much. She deserved more, it's sad how fast they can completely turn...

    Coughing and or gagging sound

Thanks yeah shes a big girl, I think it's with her eggs because she gets quite light afterwards (maybe 50-100 grams less). Yes I've tried lay boxes, she doesn't like them! I've tried sand, and dirt (I don't remember what type!). When I mean she eats at night I meant towards sorry, but 3 hours...
