    Rescued Adult Beardie

I might mention as well, that the sign of aggression mentioned above, are only presented when he is outside.

    Rescued Adult Beardie

I toiled away literal hours of my life researching reptile UVB lighting, down to how many uW's a day beardies get in the wild and how much each different bulb produces. What a messuga but, in the end I discovered that the mega-ray mercury vapour bulb is actually the closest to their natural...

    Diseased Hornworms??

It was the Hamilton Big Al's, the only one that is actually individually owned and managed. They are actually able to purchase supplies from many vendors that traditional Big Al's stores do not have access to. I considered emailing them but, to be honest, I completely forgot until I logged in...

Can I put a CHE in this?

That is actually the first site that I arrived on in my research, unfortunately it is missing the specific piece of information I am looking for, though did have many other useful pieces. It does have a ceramic base, I think I am going to try it. Thanks.

Can I put a CHE in this?

The socket is indeed horizontal, this was my main concern. Though it has reflectors, I'm still concerned with the radius of the CHE and if a housing traditionally meant for a fluorescent bulb could handle the heat capacity required for a CHE. I have ordered the CHE now so, I think I'm going to...

Can I put a CHE in this?

I'd like to get a ceramic heat emitter for Salvador. I happen to have an Exo-terra Compact Top Canopy laying around (the smallest one, single bulb), and was wondering if I can put the CHE in it; provided the wattage and voltage are on par. I checked to see if it was E27 compatible but, couldn't...

    Rescued Adult Beardie

Salvador is doing much better now! He passed a seminal plug the other day and showed immediate improvement after that. He ate 4 superworms that night, unfortunately no veg but, today he ate 11 supers, one wax worm and actually ate a little bit of endive! I had to wiggle it like a worm but, to my...

Something came out of my bearded dragon after his BM

Oh thank god, I was really hoping not to add this to the growing list of things that could be detrimental to Salvador. Thank you!

    Diseased Hornworms??

That is possible. They all seemed to be fine at the pet store, one did die the next morning but, the rest didn't die for almost a week. Do they usually get black blisters on them and secrete foaming liquid when they die? I've never seen any of them do that before. It always worries me that it...

Something came out of my bearded dragon after his BM

He had a completely liquid bowel movement with a loose urate. I rinsed him off because he stepped in it and noticed something protruding from his vent. I gently pulled on it, it came out and was quite large, about an inch and a quarter. He has barely been eating anything at all. Maybe this is...

    Diseased Hornworms??

The end result of these hornworms, checked the cup and they were dead in this foam. I assume it is the same liquid they were secreting the other day. Nobody knows why?
