    Fluorescent vs mvb

I have to measure how big the opening is for the top screen I'm not sure if I'd have enough room for the heat lamp too. Could I use the t8 to put it inside if it doesn't fit? I can't measure it until I get back hone from work tonight

    Fluorescent vs mvb

I think I'm going to go with the combo fixture since I've only read good things about Arcadia bulbs. I don't think an mvb would be good for my setup because every time I want to take out my dragon I would have to move it, which would reduce its life. Thank you for the suggestion

    Fluorescent vs mvb

I have to keep it on or my kitty charmander would probably eat him. How would I do with the mvb I've read that they have to be level or they break faster and if I get the 160w I will have to get a larger dome which will make it unlevel

    Fluorescent vs mvb

Yeah I think I'll go with the t5. I might try to find a fixture that is a little cheaper though but if I can't find one with a reflector like that then I'll get that one

    basking spot problems

That does look nice I may do that when he outgrows the stick I found him. Another question since no one is answering my other post: I'm about to buy my beardie a better uvb light, but am torn between getting the tube or an mvb. I have a screen on my aquarium and I've read that they can block out...

    Fluorescent vs mvb

I am about to go buy an uvb bulb for the enclosure, but I don't know whether to get a fluorescent tube or an mvb. I lean towards the tube because my enclosure has a screened top and I've read that it blocks a lot of the uvb. I have my dragon in my bedroom however, and am worried that if I get...

    basking spot problems

i have a 40 gallon tank and am using a 100 watt basking bulb with a reflector sitting on top of the screen. i am having a hard time figuring out what to use in order for my dragon to be able to get within a few inches of the bulb for him to receive the correct heat. i was thinking driftwood, but...

40 gallon breeder vs 55 gallon tank

Yeah I figured the 55 gallon would be too narrow but there is so much conflicting information it is hard to determine what's right. I've been looking for plans for a custom enclosure too. Do you have any good information on how to build one?

40 gallon breeder vs 55 gallon tank

As I was doing research on bearded dragons, I have come across a wide array of information on the appropriate tank size. From what I can gather 40 gallons (36×18×17in) is probably the minumum you want to keep one adult in. I found a good deal on a 55 gallon on Craigslist but the dimensions for...
