Then she's most likely a standard. But standards can have some bright colors/variety as well (:She's (he's?) a beauty.

    Enrichment

You wouldn't happen to have a link for where you found this? Contemplating making an outside "enclosure" for Falkor to explore while im in the yard. If its large enough, it would be perfect to decorate/ bring climbing stuff into...

    Falcor The Dragon

Hey all! Sort of coming back from a short hiatus...Remaking a thread for my beardie, Falcor. I had originally named him Smok, but have decided to change it as he's come into his personality (and he is actually a HE). Here are a couple pictures: When I first got him, back in March. I was told he...

    Spoiled little dragon

My guy will only eat veggies independently if he's starving....He prefers to be hand fed them... And if his nails are all clear he's a hypo! Congrats! He looks very citrus like too (looks like my little guy (: ). Hope this helped...

Good cage set up for a baby beardie?

Speaking from personal experience, he might end up hiding under the log the majority of the day (my little guy did, and still does sometimes). You want them to get the proper UV rays, so keeping them out and about can really benefit their health. However, if you feel he really needs the log...

Beardie FINALLY eats salads, but on ONE condition. Help!

Eating his greens isn't an issue (he likes Bok choy). But he refuses most other veggies I offer, so I will use a little fruit -which he LOVES. But that's about all hell eat

Beardie FINALLY eats salads, but on ONE condition. Help!

So my picky eater is finally eating salads! He is quite the stubborn one, and would rather me hand feed it to him (unless I'm gone for the day, he'll suck it up and eat it himself). So one issue; he only eats them if there's fruit involved....I currently use Bok Choy (That's the only green he's...

    Smart Beardie; Funny story...

Ugh I know the feeling... Smok doesn't eat his either. Although once I saw him take a bite (I was trying to be sneaky and put his reptiworms in the salad....). He took another bite after that and looked at me like, "this isn't moving..." and walked away. Little brat !

    Smart Beardie; Funny story...

So I've had my baby Smok for a couple months now. He has become quite the eater, and loves his crickets. I had to get a critter keeper to keep them in, so I could buy enough for a few days and keep them (without fear of escape). This critter keeper is super convenient; it has long removable...

    Smok the Bearded Dragon (progression)

Yes, let's hope so! I've got some veggies I have to get used up, so will plan on doing a big salad of kale, squash and zucchini tomorrow... Also got my repti-worms in (phoenix worms). Smok LOVES them. Nearly tried to bite the tweezers when I tried placing them in his tank. Ate a good 15-20 of...

    Smok the Bearded Dragon (progression)

Smok ate his greens, FINALLY !! :D So today, before feeding him his usual crickets, I chopped up a fresh salad of greens and squash: sprinkled it with water, multivitamin and his calcium. Between chasing crickets, he actually ran to the bowl and had a bite! At first I though it was an...

    Supplements

I completely understand. I bought my baby a couple weeks ago from a reptile shop. They told me all the WRONG information, that upon joining this site, I had to fixed EVERYTHING. But again, glad I can help!

    Handling my baby.

It took my baby a couple weeks to get used to me. He still spazzes, but once I hold him a bit (supporting all his legs and tummy) he generally starts to calm down. Have you tried handling your beardie right before lights out? They're generally tired and less likely to squirm around that time. I...

    new bearded dragon owner.

Are his nails clear colored? If so, he is probably a Hypo. But his coloring looks pretty normal to me. Then again, I don't consider myself an expert. Cute little fella! Glad to know he's eating well!
