decided to go with a 150 and it is doing the trick. 106-108 after an hour or so of being on. Problem solved.

I just found a thread in "enclosure" which is where all the basking questions are I discovered :oops: . Some one states they lived in AZ with a 40gal setup and uses a 175watt light and gets 106-108 on his basking spot so living in SoCal I think that may be a good way to go...

Okay. So I can feed unlimited crickets with in a 10 to 15 min period twice a day with a salad mid day? Im just worried cause I did this with mealworms and it was an issue. Impaction,vomiting and over feeding aren't an issue with crickets as long as they are smaller then the space between his eyes?
