The other pets are 1 cat and 1 dog. Their not usually around when we get her out. I will hold her in my hand or sometimes let her on my chest (depends on how she's acting ). We take her out and let her roam the back porch because it's screened in and its a fairly large area for her to explore.

So we have had Rango for almost a year now and we have made huge progress since first bringing her home, but I was curious how long it has taken other people to really bond with their dragons. I'm pretty sure Rango is a girl but my son insist her name is Rango, nevertheless she is great...

Thanks, Im curious how they are for both really. I would think it's just a tighter spot it covers. I guess I'll just replace the bigger of the two with a mini dome.

I have the 36" zoo med HO hood and it's pretty slim. It came with the 5.0 but I replaced it with 10.0 right away.

Was just curious if anyone uses these? Are they good? Im looking for something other than the typical 6" dome light. I have 1 mini dome and was thinking of replacing the 6" with another smaller one but then I found the mini halogens.

Does anyone use any bedding inside their dragons hide? Maybe a wash cloth or newspapaer?

unfortunately we don't have a bathtub. I) have to see what I can come up with. Maybe a baby bath would work or something like that.

For some reason when I try to give my beardie a bath he jumps a lot and acts kinda crazy. The water is barely warm and there isn't a lot. I usuelly do it in the sink. Has anyone had this?

What I meant was I don't know how I can get the temperature probe any oder to his basking spot. Temp under the night light is around 80 but that's from an stick on thermometer I know it's off. It's a 150w halogen bulb thats made by zoo med. It sits on the top maybe about 4 inches away the spot.

It's a white light and yes it's placed closed to the UV bulb.The probe is as close to his basking spot and the light as it can get. His tank is 36×18×12. The UV bulb is fluorescent not the compact I've read bad things about those so I wasn't sure if they are entirely safe.I've got a temp gun...

So for some reason my guy is not basking in his spot. I have a digital probe that says the temp is around 99-100 in most cases but dude will not get under the light. Instead he chooses to stay under a night light that's only 50W dark light. Could my probe be off and its just too hot for him...
