    Possible MBD

I would also recommend getting some phoenix worms if you can, as they are very high in calcium. You don't even have to dust them. :)

    Tiling my tank

I wouldn't recommend sealing it, as it's easier to just take individual dirty tiles out to clean. I just put newspaper underneath mine.

Beardie baby won't poop in viv

Eren went through a period where he would hold it in until I took him out, where he would immediately proceed to poop on my floor. Keeping up the routine of letting him go in the bath is a good idea, you can basically train them to only go in the bath.

    Hissing

Sounds like he's just irritated from the shed most likely. Eren doesn't get angry during shed, but he goes absolutely nuts! You can give your dragon a soak/bath to give him some relief and help him shed. :)

    bedtime

I wouldn't advise doing this with really young beardies, maybe juveniles. I've let Eren sleep in my bed with me once before, making sure that he was in a spot on my bed where I wouldn't, say, roll over and crush him. Unless it gets really cold in your house, a hot water bottle or heating pad...

    Head scratching

The only time my beardie does this is if I'm petting him in an area he is shedding/about to shed. This could be the case with yours. Does his head look like it's in shed? If that's not the cause, it could just be he doesn't enjoy getting pet on the head, haha.

Help! Is this a suitable makeshift enclosure?

I'd wait until it's nice and sunny to feed him, and either set him by a window or outside so he can bask and digest. Of course, if you take him outside I'd stick around to keep an eye on him. I don't think he can climb out, but just to be safe!

    WTH!!!!

Pictures and your setup info would be helpful, as Tracie said. Does the bump look like it's on top of the scales, or underneath/under the skin?

    Your favorite/reliable thermometers and hygrometers

Hey everyone! I'm currently looking for a new thermometer and temp gun for my beardie's tank. For the thermometer, I used to have Zoo Med's digital one with probe and am thinking of picking it up again, since it seemed to work well. Never had a temp gun so I'm not sure what to look for. As for...

My beardie is being very aggressive

My guess is that your beardie is a male going through puberty. Eren got aggressive during his puberty as well.

    Alternative Roach/Superworm Keeping

Oh man i'd love to do this, i'd rather not have to clean a roach tub every couple months. This type of setup should also work in a plastic tub (with screen in the lid for ventilation) right? And also because I can't tell, what order did you layer the substrate?

    dubia breeding questions!

i'm going to start getting ready to start my first colony, and i have a few questions. 1. is heating really required, or can they do without? 2. how do you sort your roaches? i'm planning on getting at least two bins (plus an extra for when cleaning) to organize the feeders from the breeders...

Buying a new dragon, help, pliss.

I recommend finding a breeder rather than going to a store, or waiting for a reptile expo to come around (if there are any that come around your area).

    Found a perfect cave/basking item

I'm not sure since my current temp reader in there is either broken or needs new batteries (and I'm out of state), and the cave covers the basking area. I don't remember but I think I use a 100w. However I don't think they get burning hot. I definitely recommend slate tile 100%. I've used...

    Found a perfect cave/basking item

(I thought about putting this in the Enclosure section, but that seemed for questions and talking about the enclosure as a whole. If admins want to move this there, that is okay!) I've always been on the lookout for the best cave/basking combo item, and I actually found one days ago at Petsmart...

New Bearded Dragon Owner - BD Acting Differently

I'm pretty positive I've read that reptiles will eat differently during shed. Even though this is happening after, it might still be a contributor for the stress/lack of eating. As for the undigested feeders, is he basking for a while after he eats? The basking temps sound like he can get close...

dragons out in heat wave in UK

Yeah, pounds are worth almost twice as much as a US dollar. Sucks when you travel there and end up broke so fast!

dragons out in heat wave in UK

Ingesting bees can also kill your dragon! So save the bees and your dragon as well! I would also watch to make sure they don't eat too many wild bugs or wild bugs in general, as they can carry parasites. I also need to find one of those pens O: I live in the US and £17.92 is a little pricey...

    What's so bad about Petsmart?

i don't think i'll ever buy a reptile from a pet store again, but i did get my current beardie from a petsmart. this particular one seems to take good care of their reptiles (none on sand, good food, clean tanks, etc), if it weren't for that i probably would have waited longer to find a breeder...
