Gravid injured beardie needs sanitary lay box

No other animal contact :-) Thank you SO much for the reassurance!!! I have been so worried about progress and whatnot and emailing the vet like every three days hahaha. I’m glad the pain is minimal too, she’s a little sweetheart and I would hate for her to suffer any more. Thank you for the...

Gravid injured beardie needs sanitary lay box

Hi AHBD! Good to see you! It's been a while since I've uploaded pics on here so hopefully I'm doing it correctly. WARNING! GRAPHIC IMAGES!!! ! ! ! ! ! This is when it initially happened, on April 18th. We went to the vet on the 21st. Here she is on the same day, you can see the discoloration...

Gravid injured beardie needs sanitary lay box

Hi guys! So Crowley is 9.5 years old and we just found out he was a girl while at the vet for a serious tail injury a few weeks ago. We also learned that she is gravid! She has definitely been gravid before (I may have been in serious denial about feeling little eggs inside her, I was like no...

Question's about t5 fixtures, as well as substrate.

Wow, thank you guys so much! Yes I've considered linoleum flooring as well as slate, howevet Crowley will still run around in his poop and smear it- looking for something to help it "stick". Multiple sets of carpets sounds like a good idea, though! I really appreciate the fixture & lighting...

Question's about t5 fixtures, as well as substrate.

Hello all! I need to upgrade my beardie's UVB to a t5 10.0. I have a 40g breeder and am currently using a t8 10.0. I am worried he isn't getting enough UVB and am unsue as to what fixture I need to mount the light. I am planning to mount it inside the terrarium on the inside of the screen. The...

Bearded dragon with mbd tube light fixture problem.

I dont really know to much about it but please dont use the fixture that is sparking and melting things!!! Extremelh dangerous. There was a guy on here once whose fixture fell and shocked his baby. How long until the new fixture arrives? im sure it'll be fine

    Yellow Fungus

Def looks like yellow fungus, but I would take her to a vet and get a skin scraping (I think thats what its called?) just to be sure. There are plenty of people on here who have had a lot of success treating their beardies, lengthening their lifespans, and I think in rare cases even curing it...

    Parasites or pumpkin?

Than you for the reassurance! He is almost 5 years old and he ate about 10 crickets and about 4 superworms. I actually dont have anything to measure the heat right now as my probe broke. I was just judging by behavior and using the same lights that have worked for me in the past, but i changed...

    Diarrhea

He should be eating a full salad daily and should be having at least 15 medium size (dubia, at least) roaches per day since he is still a juvenile. What is his lighting, other tank specs?

    Parasites or pumpkin?

Hi again, asking about parasites again. You can see my previous post to see the poop pictures I posted concerning little line things in his poops. It kind of looks like fibers though which is I think what the last person said. His poops havent really been solid lately maybe 50/5p but as of...

    Falling

First step is to stop putting him on your bed. You should have learned that the first time. Is he black bearding? Back legs working?

    Parasites??

Okay, that makes me feel a lot better. Thank you so much!!

    Parasites??

So here is a picture of crowleys poop. It was obviously very liquidy (dried because I've been at work and its directly under the basking spot) I am concerned that those little threads are little worms/parasites!!! I have been feeding him collard greens, red chard, mustard greens, turnip greens...

    Mushy feet

Its a common thing really :( Probably to sell more dragons. Ideally beardies would be separated as soon as they are hatched as they gain nothing but can lose everything with cohabitating. How is your little guy doing? I don't know enough about wounds to help, so hopefully someone more helpful...

    When to start force feeding?

Couldn't it be brumation? Lots of dragons will go into brumation around this time.

    Mushy feet

Oh my god... That foot looks completely smashed. You need to go to a vet and SEPARATE IMMEDIATELY. The injured one is scrawny and is clearly getting abused by the other dragon here! Beardies are solitary creatures!
