i have looked at slate and heard good stuff but can live food get in the cracks and gaps and doesnt it soak up the urine and stuff. thanks for the vinyl tile info though .

yeah the environment isnt great at all. but the main thing i am looking for is a good substrate ive recently been looking at lino possible combined with shelf liner just want something thats gonna give good grip and easy to maintain :)
