    Help me re-design Rex's cage...

You could check out the "DIY" forum and browse around to see what you like. There are so many creative ideas for you to see, and surely some people there that can help you with any ideas that you may already have. Also, Lizard Landscapes has some tutorials on making fake rocks, etc.

    dragon Escaped

You should never leave a bearded dragon in a bath alone, or alone in anywhere but their cages for that matter. They need constant supervision otherwise things like this happen. You should check around the room. Under the bed, behind the desk,in a clothing pile etc. As long as one of the dogs...

Almost 2 year old dragon refusing to eat greens

Hmmm. Yes, sometimes you need a little creativity..has he ever had any issues eating his greens before lately? Keep offering it- just incase he does eat it. Hmm..you could calcium coat worms, calcium coat some of the salad and put them in together and perhaps he will grab the peices?

    Two male beardies

I'm not sure if you meant the cool side of your tank being 75 degrees, but on the hot side or basking spot, in both tanks, the temp needs to be between 95 and 110 degrees. As for the glass dancing, it does seem sort of weird that out of the blue, they are both doing it. Are you sure they are not...

Almost 2 year old dragon refusing to eat greens

You could encourage him to eat the greens by putting some worms in with the salad, hand feeding it too him (Wiggling the piece in front of him to draw interest) Or coating a few pieces in calcium dust, he may see it more appetizing that way as I looks like his feeder insects.

I mean, you shouldn't squeeze it.

    Juvenile beardie, need advice.

It won't get better unless you handle him. You'll have to be firm, but not overly so. You can let him walk your hands and lap, but pull him back afterwards. He's scared and not used to contact, and is using "self defense" against you.

    Juvenile beardie, need advice.

You'll have to pick it up anyways..if you're scared of getting bit, you can use a glove. Try to go from underneath him rather than just snatching him up

    Juvenile beardie, need advice.

The dragon is just scared and not used to being handled. Usually with consistant handling they tame out and calm down, the sooner you start the better! While it may stress the beardie out now, in the long run it will be beneficial to both of you

My Beardie Has a Foot Fetish

Well you must be incredibly honored that your feet and socks are so incredibly appealing  I've seen bearded dragons try to mate with socks, dog toys, or anything that may somehow resemble another dragon. Nothing too out of the ordinary!

how often should i feed my 2 y/o this mix and is it all safe

I misunderstood your intentions, I didn't realize it was being fed rarely as a treat. After all, feeding a dragon soley fruit purees would not be very healthy. The ingredients that could potentially harm him are the oxalates and goitragens within which is probably why they were under...

how often should i feed my 2 y/o this mix and is it all safe

Most of the ingredients you listed are fruits. To keep a bearded dragon healthy, you need a variety of greens, rather than that mixture. Collard greens, mustard greens, dandelion greens, endive, and kale, for example, are greens that can be fed to keep your dragon healthy. While none of your...

Can noise make dragons skittish? Staring in glass?

Oh, yes! They do change colors, or at least shades. They get darker when they're cold, in an attempt to attract the sun's rays, as well as when they're angry. You'll notice that when they're warm and happy, they tend to be lighter or brighter colored and when they're stressed they get a dark...

Can noise make dragons skittish? Staring in glass?

Does your beardie show signs of stress when there are loud noises and/or the kids around? (Such as a color change to a darker shade, stress or dark marks on his underside or belly-when happy it tends to be all white. Or attempts to hide) While loud noises can stressbearded dragons, from...

    Product Recommendations

As far as temperature reading goes, I suggest you get either a digital thermometer with a probe, or a temp gun. Both of those are relatively cheap, and can be found at your local Wal-Mart, if not at the pet store. (I got mine at Petco, it is a simple ZooMed Digital Thermometer with a probe. It...

Can noise make dragons skittish? Staring in glass?

Baby dragons tend to be rather active when out of the tank. They roam, and scare easily. They are little, and naturally, think most things are threats. I can't imagine you've had the dragon very long judging by his size. As long as you supervise handling and make sure your beardies body is...

    Eggs Coming!

For even a fully grown, healthy bearded dragon (Responsible breeders wait until 18+ months of age) the egg laying process can be very stressful. The thought of a 6 month old beardie being bred to her immediate brother just about scares me to my wits end. The offspring of the pair, if they do...
