To follow up on my O-post, I moved the female into another room, and he is back to normal now. I really wish I had not had to move her though, but I put a ball python tank in the place where I had put her cage, he did not seem curious and 'remember' her....what ARE the triggers. Scent, someone...

Well, that response is a nightmare and seems to be true! I just put up a barrier n his glass so he cant see out, but his beard is still black and he's still pacing, very alert. How long can he remember she's there? Or did something get 'triggered' and now he's changed forever?!?!?I will def be...

I have an adult male BD. I assume male only because I was told he was by prior owners who said they had a male and female but the male( my guy) broke the females back trying to mate. So, I just took in another adult, she is on the far side of the same room, about 12 feet away from one another...

I fiddled with the bulb and now its working again, might be a short in the fixture itself, I will check by switching it out and seeing. and no, as far as I know CHE all day and all night is important, they are in my air conditioned house and I keep things cool in here, like 76 degrees.

yes, fixture is for CHE. darnit. also, petsmart isn't selling zoomed CHE anymore, they are only selling their own brand, 'all living things'. do you approve? its smaller, thinner I think then zoomed, black colored( not light of course) instead of the usual ceramic white...

I was told I have to be way more careful for my health and that of my family in regard to my BD's. I was told if I am letting him use our bath-tub for his soakings( which I wipe down before he gets in)I need to 'bleach the living s**t out of it' before we use it. Even if we don't take baths but...
