    give him some more time in the morning to warm up. He was prolly still cold. Do you know what the temp gets at night? He was prolly a bit colder, and slept a bit deeper than he has been since you were using a niteheat light. I give my an hour at least to warm up.

    Im just curious, if my dragon were to have eaten a spider on accident, how bad would that be?? Also the spider is not on that list a poisonious spiders. Its still creepy, with distinctive markings. YUCK!! LOL :lol:

    Fyi, mealworms are a big no no with dragons. Supers are ok once they are 16". And you are right , you would miss watching them grow in that time. But,, If you already breed worms, why not look into breeding roaches? Its very simmiliar and better than crickets and supers,lol.and Im pretty sure...

    You could. But what are you using to take temps? I use a 100w in my 40g and could use a 75 instead if I wanted to drop the lamp a few inches.

    Your in canada, therefor should easily be able to get ahold of an arcadia 12% , which is a better bulb. Not easily available in the USA. :D

    Getting really confused about lighting!!

    sounds like youre on the right track. Just make sure you set the probe on the basking spot, actually touching it to get the proper temp readout. Oh and wait like 45min to an hr then see what the temp is.

    Dubia Result

    Sounds like you have a plan. However I would leave the babies in with the adults as they eat the poo and the colony thrives better. Just remove what you need to feed off for a week or more, only bothering the colony when you have to( food, water, ect..).
