Rep Cal has a cricket shaker thing and it seems to be working good to feed Dino, and I will only give him one at a time since he too is in a 40 gal tank and he's just a baby.

I think that being a baby his nutritional requirements are more 80% protein (crickets) and 20% greens, so I think it's not going to pose a major health problem. He will start eating them when he is ready to. Our little guy just started but won't eat them out of the dish, I have to hand feed them...

Is it possible to buy 1000 crickets or whatever online and then freeze them and only take out what you need for the day? I am going through a ton of crickets with my baby and am looking for a better alternative.
