My son named him. His name was Peter Parker Spiderman Samuel Shupe Venom Carnage. After I told him that name was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long he decided on Venom.

Venom loves kale, carrots and squash. He wont eat bananas at all. We rotate the protein because he will start only eating crickets ect but when we rotate he will eat just fine.

Venom has Coccidia and is being treated. We cleaned his tank and I am wondering about his back wall. It is made of styrofoam. How can this be cleaned? My husband thinks it needs to be replaced. Does this need to stay out of his tank until he is cleared of the parasites? Thanks for your help.

This is our set up. Any suggestions before it is occupied? The light we have is a ZooMed Powersun that provides uvb, light and heat all in one. Is that enough?

We are setting up before we get our first Beardie. My question is where do you put the heating pad? On the warm side or cool side of the tank? This is the current debate between hubby and I. I hope I am right :)............

Why is that?

I worry about the trauma they might experience and it is only 30 degrees here. I know it is common practice but as this is our first BD I would prefer getting one closer to home.

We are doing a ton of research before we finally take the plunge! Our 6 yr son has been asking for one for a while now. We looked at one at Petco and they let my son play with the BD. I have read that it is better to get one from a breeder rather than a pet store. I am not sure why that is...
