on 2nd thought, the chain pet-store horror stories scare me, i might end up getting one online anyway... any suggestions? i'm familiar with TnDDragons.com and they're probably my best bet as they're the closest online store to me.

i was just looking on Lowes site, they have slate that's not black (natural tannish stone color) for like $0.67 for 6" squares, ofr $1.somethin for 12" squares, i think i'll be choosing that

i saw slate mentioned... how is that compare to tile? i would like the black color better, but it's not up to me, it's for the beardie.

i'm no expert (obviously), but i don't think underheating would be a problem. if anything, it would be hydration; however it seems thousands of baby dragons make alive via FedEx daily, i dont see why they wouldn't make a 5-hour (max) car drive

oh i wouldn't dream of getting the beardie until his/her home was perfect. I saw in horror on youtube some guy who got 3 beardies days before he had a tank, he kept them on his kitchen counter! horrible
