    dont worry!!!!!!!! dubia roaches need heat, food, and humidity to breed. IF they get out they would live MAX 1-2 days and deffitenyl would not be able to breed

    if the temps are just right a female can produce eggs and obviously they will not be fertile lol but yea they will be "empty" if tht is wut u mean. and around 2 years old that can start to happen from my experience.

    actually mr white! u may be right. The mercury vapor bulbs are very strong so maybe tht is what i heard and the breeders tht told me tht both use MVB. thnks for tht lol

    u really shoudl stick with a heatmat.. i wouldnt use heatmat and a heatlamp for roaches. I would think tht would cook the roaches and they hate light! i would try and just stick with a heatmat and if it isnt getting hot enough buy a thermostat.

    go to amazon.com and type in calcium powder without d3 thts were i got mine. d3 is an alternative for reptiles who dont get natural sunlight. so u would give a leopard gecko d3 becuase most of the time u dont have a uvb light for them.. but a UVB fixture is creating natural d3 for the dragon so...

    actually i wouldnt give d3. becuase if u know d3 is an alternative for reptiles who dont get natural sunlight so u shoudl give d3 to a leopard gecko who doesnt get a uvb light. But a bearded dragon's uvb light is creating d3 naturally so thts y calcium powder without d3 is all thts needed...

    make sure the basking spot is 95-105, no sand unless over a year, (i use tile). I also add altile blanky in the corner of the tank (on the basking spot side) where my beardy can cuddle into lol. Leave alittle bowl for water just incase he realizes its water. Veggies should be kale, mustard...
