My UV wont stay on when im not around, i have a reptisun 10.0 tube light in my viv and i have bought a new bulb, exactly the same but the problem persists.. if i push the end connectors in tho, it lights up again. Do i have to buy a new light set up or is this a common problem with a easier fix?

True lol so how often should I do a full clean out and disenfect of the viv? This is when I'll replace the sand.. Most of the time I'll keep it clean anyway, also, is childrens play sand suitable for a adult beardie? Becuase if it is I can get loads for next to nothing at my work =)

Strange the guy in the shop said is the best substrate for beardies because they live in the dessert in Australia so the sand emulates that.. anyway yeah I think she will be able to get 6" away from the UVB, the viv is only 2ft tall and there is a peice of wood running almost the length of it...

I Have a repti glo 10.0 UVB desert terrarium lamp, like i said it came with the viv so is suitable for beardies (apparently!).. anyway ive had the spotlight on wit the UVB and i think i have the right gradient, at according to my thermometer.. so maybe i was worried over nothing?
