    Red foot

Hi everyone. I was hoping someone might be able to help me figure out why Goliath has a red foot. I have noticed over the last several months that a pinkish-orange color has began to show on his legs and I assumed that was just his coloring. But, today we discovered that the palm on his right...

1 year old, not eating much

Hi everyone. Goliath is roughly a year old now. He is active and happy, same as he always has been. But he doesn't eat much. He quit eating his supers, so we tried crickets. I know meal worms are not recommended but we tried them too, to see if he would eat some protein, but nothing. I caught...

    leaving on vacatin-need an opinion

We will be gone on vacation for a week, and need to leave our beardie behind  We are going to pay someone to take care of him. He is coming 2 times a day for 7 days. I was curious as to what you think would be fair to pay him? I don't want to pay more than I have too, but you all know how...

    Getting bigger

I thought this was funny, so I had to share. One day Goliath fell asleep like this: I woke him up, poor little guy. Then I came home the other night to find him sleeping in the exact same spot a few months later: Think he has grown a little? LOL You can also tell from the pics that he has a...

    just wondering

I was just wondering....when my beardie is in his viv, he almost always has a dark belly. Within minutes of us taking him out he turns creamy and happy again. I have heard they turn dark to help them absorb the heat? Or is our spoiled baby pouting that he has to be in his viv? lol

Finally the hot water started to run out so I turned the water off. And he still just sat there. After...

Idea for beardie that won't eat veggies?

    New Beardie lover

Hello everyone. Thanks for all your comments. We have used this site a lot to help us set up our new beardie's home. My husband decided to get my daughter a pet for her 7th Birthday. He picked a bearded dragon. I told him that was fine as long as I didn't have to touch it, or feed it, or have...
