Hello, I'm shipping an adult beardie out Monday and am wondering exactly how to ship her? I know I am doing overnight by 10:30 am shipping. But what about the box? Put her in a bag like a pillow case? Styrofoam peanuts? etc... Thanks, John

Well, i posted the other day about her not eating and etc and she has a new hotter bulb now from reptile uv and shes coming out of it...however, what is this? (coming from her nose)

this is a pic when she was younger, she still has those colors when she is happy and eating well etc...

she is a bit dark right now, she is normally a brighter orange-red color. And the scales along the back and head arent normally black or atleast that dark...not sure what that means

i live in tx and the temps in the room are around 74, but the temps in her terrarium are right, 95-108 in the basking, and 80-85ish in the cool side. the light cycle has been on a timer all her life, never been changed.

hey, im in the same situation, its kind of scarry. Maybe brumation for yours if he is older than a yr. Mines only 10 months so yea I dont know, it stressful

oh and she lives in a 4x2x2(feet) where she has been all her life and I haven't changed the decor at all.

this is her 1st winter though so I wouldn't think it was that....She hasnt eaten much lately but I offered the last hornworm I had and her eyes flarred a bit and she ate it with out hesitation. Think she is just being/becoming a picky eater.

ok i think i just figured it out, she wont eat anything except for hornworms, she goes psycho for them...nothing else...well as long as she eats and theyre healthy for her

my beardie was like that, turned out she had quite a bit to much coccidia in her. costed $64 total for medication and fecal test.

well thanks for yalls inputs, I've been looking at dachiu and they seem to have nice beardies for a decent price, are they generally pretty god? Do they have adenovirus at all? Thanks, John
