What a wonderful thread! Hows it all going? My childrens school also keeps pets but they are rabbits,fish and chooks lol, i think a beardie would b much more interesting!

I would have been going with any of these options...... we had 2 beardies together when we first got them ( because the petsop said it was fine because they were the same age). One day Cameron decided to attack Diaz's tail because it look like food,( we took him to the vet as part of his tail...

Decided it was time to let Cameron have some time out in the sun seeing it was a nice day ( Winter here). Had her up in the tree for awhile, then down on her rock, and when i went to move her into her cage that i leave her in for outside time she got a little angry lol. See for yourself!

She does enjoy being outside when there is sun lol...we r in winter and it was one of the warmer days weve had, i was out getting the mail so i thought she may like a little trip outside, but no she wasnt to fazed this day....plus the shedding always makes her grumpy lol.

We take our girl to the vet....didnt feel comfy doing it ourselves just incase, only cost a couple of $$ to get done.

I too bath everyday...saves mess/poo in her enclosure and makes sure shes well hydrated. I too feed out of the enclosure, i get a seperate container, dust the crickets and let her in....saves a lot of mess in ure enclosure over all.

Thanks....i was a bit worried the other day when i got the plants as she tried to eat them when i was putting them in, but i think she got the idea that she wasnt suppose to eat them when they didnt taste so good! She hasnt tried since :)

Cameron ( not to sure when pic was taken )n the woodchips have certainly gone :? And now...3 yrs later, shes certainly grown!

So sorry for ure loss....we had to put one of our beardies down and that was a VERY hard thing to do. I cried for days and days and im not ashamed to admit it and its not silly at all.... they become a part of ure life.....its very hard packing up there homes..but its ok to cry about that...
