Barbara, you had the right to be furious with that man. It is not "just a lizard". I think I might have decked him. Zak-n-Wheezie are very special to you and many of us here. Zak-n-Wheezie would not be here if it weren't for you.
Welcome to the boards. I would have to agree it is very unwise to house two or more dragons together. You could end up with injured or worse yet dead dragons. When housed together they can be very aggressive. I have 3 dragons and they are all housed separately.
Welcome to the forum. Please post some pics of spyro. We all love sharing our babies. There is lots of information here and many very knowlegeable people about beardies. If you have questions just ask.
Yesterday I decided to take another beardie. Her name is Dude and she is 2 yrs old. She seems to be a very sweet and calm little girl from what I can tell. So we now have Tango, Taser, Dude, and also Twinkie the leopard gecko. Here is a pic od Dude
I said I wasn't going to get another lizard after Paddie died. So then came baby Taser, another baby beardie. On the 6th we found out our favorite reptile store who is also a breeder is closing for good at the beginning of June. My husband just looked at me and said go pick out a gecko. :shock...
This is Tango, as my human calls me.I am requesting to join your army along with my little housemate Taser. Our human is making us eat vegetables which are not my favorite thing and she makes me take baths which I hate.
Tangosmom: I love that last pic, it looks like a laughing beardie
LOL Yeah Taser is my wild child. I think Tatsu's Army is trying to recruit him. I think he was laughing in that pic.
LOL this backfired on him bigtime! I have just returned from the store where I bought Tango a leese and I think I might make him a beach outfit for summer. It has been a while since I laughed so hard.
My buddy at the reptile store I do business with set up a roach colony for me and it went crazy. My adult beardie loves them. We have some called false deathhead roaches that cant climb or fly. It saves us a ton on feeders.
I'm so glad you rescued him. No beardie should have to live like that. I'm sure you will get him fattened up if he eats like you said he does! Congrats!
