Edward not eating much and loose stool

He is honestly not looking good at all right now... He has vomited 3 times today. Seems like he won't swallow when I feed him the critical care/carnivore care he just lets it sit in his mouth. It's very depressing to witness and have to put him through this... I tried giving him some soy...

Edward not eating much and loose stool

F10 is super hard to find, so far I have been unsuccessful. Only a large bottle on Amazon for $100. It must be an American thing, just like how Dubia Roaches are illegal here in Canada.

Edward not eating much and loose stool

He's actually now declined some more I think. Today he looks pale. He vomited while I was syringe feeding critical care (I am careful and did not shoot it into the back of his throat) I think it was stress related. I was reading that this med can kill all the good bacteria just like it can in...

Edward not eating much and loose stool

Vet confirmed through fecal test that he has pin worms. I have a medication for him called Panacur Suspension. He is doing slightly better but still sluggish and appears to be unhappy.

Edward not eating much and loose stool

Thanks for your responses. I consulted with his vet yesterday. I picked up some Critical Care and Carnivore Care that they have me feeding him. It has helped so far with the runs, and he has perked up a bit as well. He is going in tomorrow for an examination. Thanks again!

Edward not eating much and loose stool

Really? Okay, that is interesting. I unfortunately am unable to get Dubia Roaches in Canada. How urgent of an issue is this? Paying an exotic vet on the weekend is going to be a small fortune. I am also not wanting to put him through the trauma of transporting in a vehicle to the vet. I forgot...

Edward not eating much and loose stool

Hello all... Just looking for some advice here... Edward was eating very well, phoenix worms and butter worms and occasional wax worms. He eats escarole and mustards as well those are his favorites. This last week he has not eaten much at all and has had runny stool bowel movements...

    supplementing D3 while using phoenix/calci-worms/bsfl

I heard that you don't need to dust them. I just started feeding Edward phoenix worms, because he will no longer eat crickets and he loves them. I feed phoenix worms as staple with veg/greens and also butter and wax worms on rotation a few times per week.

    Anyone still here?

Hey everyone! Just checking in. I haven't been around in ages, but love this site. It has always been my most reliable resource when dealing with my dragon Edward. He is 16 now... Hard to believe... I am located on the West Coast, Vancouver Island. Take care

    Weeping Eyes/Vision Issue

Thank you for your suggestions all. His eyes look a lot better now after a couple days of bathing and rinsing with saline solution. Will do the honey thing if it flares up again. Only seems to actually weep during feeding. Otherwise fine.

    Weeping Eyes/Vision Issue

Hello all, My dragon Edward whom is 12 years old appears to be having a problem with his eyes/vision. For the last 3 months he has had one eye weep when he feeds in particular and sometimes a bubble/tear stays on his eye. I read on this website to just softly clean with a moist q tip, so I have...

    Eye Looks Infected

Just to update you all that I bathed Edward and used a q-tip to gently brush his eye and I think it was just an old piece of skin from his last shed because it flaked right off. :) Thanks for all your help. Edward thanks you too

    Eye Looks Infected

It has been about a week or 2 that it has looked like this. Also his eyes water (both of them) when I feed him prey items is that normal?

    Eye Looks Infected

Hello, I posted this in the ER because I need to know if majority think I should go to the vet asap or if this is something more normal? I noticed this piece of skin/scale on the bottom of Edward's eye and a bit of black speckle... I thought it was maybe some dirt or that he scratched himself...

Basking Temp Help and Substrate Question

Hi, so my adult beardie is in a 40 gallon tank right now, it is very hot this summer and I am having problems controlling the temperature of his basking spot. Right now it is sitting at about 112-114 degrees F. I know it is not supposed to be over 110... I even have a dial that I can turn down...

Best way to sterilize found rocks/tree limbs?

The branch is too long for the oven  Do I need to wrap the rocks in aluminum foil or anything? Just scrub with bleach solution and rinse? Or soak in the bleach solution for x period of time? I am a little iffy about the baking because I don't want rocks exploding in my oven, but if it is...
