Vet confirmed through fecal test that he has pin worms. I have a medication for him called Panacur Suspension. He is doing slightly better but still sluggish and appears to be unhappy.

Thanks for your responses. I consulted with his vet yesterday. I picked up some Critical Care and Carnivore Care that they have me feeding him. It has helped so far with the runs, and he has perked up a bit as well. He is going in tomorrow for an examination. Thanks again!

Really? Okay, that is interesting. I unfortunately am unable to get Dubia Roaches in Canada. How urgent of an issue is this? Paying an exotic vet on the weekend is going to be a small fortune. I am also not wanting to put him through the trauma of transporting in a vehicle to the vet. I forgot...

Hello all... Just looking for some advice here... Edward was eating very well, phoenix worms and butter worms and occasional wax worms. He eats escarole and mustards as well those are his favorites. This last week he has not eaten much at all and has had runny stool bowel movements...

I heard that you don't need to dust them. I just started feeding Edward phoenix worms, because he will no longer eat crickets and he loves them. I feed phoenix worms as staple with veg/greens and also butter and wax worms on rotation a few times per week.

Thank you for your suggestions all. His eyes look a lot better now after a couple days of bathing and rinsing with saline solution. Will do the honey thing if it flares up again. Only seems to actually weep during feeding. Otherwise fine.

Just to update you all that I bathed Edward and used a q-tip to gently brush his eye and I think it was just an old piece of skin from his last shed because it flaked right off. :) Thanks for all your help. Edward thanks you too :lol:

Hello, I posted this in the ER because I need to know if majority think I should go to the vet asap or if this is something more normal? I noticed this piece of skin/scale on the bottom of Edward's eye and a bit of black speckle... I thought it was maybe some dirt or that he scratched himself...

Hi, so my adult beardie is in a 40 gallon tank right now, it is very hot this summer and I am having problems controlling the temperature of his basking spot. Right now it is sitting at about 112-114 degrees F. I know it is not supposed to be over 110... I even have a dial that I can turn down...
