    Bearded dragon impaction

Getting excited to eat is a good sign. While he is a little young don't forget about things like brumation, he may be feeling the seasonal change and just slowing down, hence the less poop. But as his owner you know what is happening daily. I say warm baths, and if he is still taking his food a...

    Dubia roaches for beardie

If you ever get the chance to breed them they are much cheaper that way and you can control their diet as well. Best of luck friend.

    Dubia roaches for beardie

Yes it is still safe, if you are able to shake out the frass and gut load in that container it'll be even better for your beardie. But overall the Dubia is a great choice and most Dunia breeders feed them a solid nutritional diet.

    Baby beardie not eating veggies

As long as your tank set up is correct then keep offering greens every day. I would do an insect feeding a little later in the day to make sure they have time check out their veggies. I would use BSFL as mentioned before to tempt them towards their salad. Also try to rotate your greens...

    Bearded dragon impaction

As well as the questions posted above I have had great success with my beardies when I bath them. Use warm water and just enough that they can float their back legs, they will inflate themselves and usually(not always) poop. Make sure to check for blood when it does finally pass. I try to go the...

    Dubia roaches for beardie

As long as you aren't feeding the frass directly to your dragon it should be fine. I breed Dubia and there is always frass on the bottom of my set up for them. A tip I use is to separate the dubia into a separate container and shake them a bit, it knocks off any little stuff that they may have...

    Axew is home

Will do, thank you. I used to have my strip lights mounted inside the pvc enclosures I had it ran the whole length. Wish I still had those enclosures.

    Axew is home

Right now is one of the dessert mats, it helps keep its nails filed, let it get grip when it does move around and has no loose pieces. In the large enclosure I usually use tile or paper towels, just depending on what's available at the time.

    Axew is home

Thank you very much, I already have plans to aquire all of this within a week or two. It isn't ideal I know but it was a decision that we had to make at the time to get him out of a worse situation. What probe thermometers do you find are the most accurate? The laser thermometer I have is OK at...

    Axew is home

Hello, I am a new baby beardie owner. We brought Axew home on Sept 15th and have spent the last few days adjusting to having a new beardie. Axew appears to be a citrus leatherback, but we chose this one because my daughter liked it. Axew came in a 10 gal tank and it maybe 6 or 7 inches. I know...

    Minimum age to sell babies

I don't know about specific age/size but I would guess it is safe to sell when they can safely hunt/eat and bask. Typically I see this around a month old.
