    Parasites again????

Her uvb and basking temps are perfect. She eats collard greens...mustard greens...the occasional sweet peppers and carrots....dubia roaches and meal worms (occasional). It smelled awful enough for me to gag..that never happens.

    Parasites again????

So I treated my girl for parasites and pin worms when i first got her (she was a baby maybe a couple months old). A few months ago the vet said she still had them real bad. I had her on paper towel. Soaked her daily. Deep cleaned her tank daily. Was on top of her meds. Like i did everything...

    I need brumation info!

This is her right now. She heard me coming and opened her eyes. This is how she always is till about 3pm (unless i move her)..then she is up like normal. When i spoke to the vet, after explaining everything including her behavior, setup, eating habits, ECT...the vet said it may be too cold at...

    I need brumation info!

I have noted my set up in many other posts so i know that its legit. She gets greens and Dubia roaches dusted with vit d mon, tues, thurs, and fri. Then d3 on weds and sat, and a multivitamin on Sunday. She is growing fine and her weight looks good. She poops and eats daily still, though she did...

    I need brumation info!

Me again lol, i previously posted about my girl being sluggish and i was worried. After talks with a new (and much better) reptile vet, and LOTS of reading on here, i am pretty sure she is in brumation. I see people on here talking about their dragons brumation and how they change light cycles...

    Sluggish beardie

I have both a probe thermometer and a temp gun and am going off of those temps. Okay so the basking light is perfect. I just see so many people talk about using 75watt basking bulbs in a 40 gal or larger and wonder how they do it and get the right temps.

    Sluggish beardie

My tank already has a 100 watt bulb basking light during the day. It’s a 40 gal tank. I will try a heater and see if it helps. She’s never been so sluggish

    Sluggish beardie

So i spoke with the vet that my reptile shop recommends and they put me at ease. She promised that my temps are fine (that other vet sucks), and asked what the temps drop down to at night. I checked her thermometer and it dropped down to 64F. She claimed that that’s too cold and that i may want...

    Sluggish beardie

She has various levels on her log to bask, and she sits on them in different spots... that is not my issue. The issue is that my vet is claiming that my temps are WAY too hot. It bothers me when the vet tells me that i am going to cause kidney issues for my beardie. Guess i am looking for...

    Sluggish beardie

So today she was not basking at all and hiding under her basking log. I spoke with the vet and the vet insists that her temps are too high and was giving me attitude saying “I don’t know who told you that those temps are okay”. The temps in her tank are as followed: Basking: 100-106 Hot side...

    Sluggish beardie

    Sluggish beardie

Okay so i am back. Dale was sluggish again this morning till about 2:30pm. Then she was up like normal. I fed her greens, a couple of freeze dried crickets. Then her dubia roaches. So just now i was on the phone and i walked by Dale’s tank. She was in her basking spot and i did a double take cus...

    Sluggish beardie

After i posted my last reply, she came out and went to her basking spot. She has not touched her greens yet, but she is running around her tank like normal now. It’s looking like she just lays around and comes out in the afternoon lately. It worried me because she normally is out and basking by...

I should add that she is hiding under her basking log. I worry she is not getting enough light
