    Beardie acting up

Thanks guys - he’s also just coming back from beardie boarding as I was away for a few days so he’s probably still a bit grumpy with me. He’s learned the head bobbing skill in two days at boarding! I think I’ll be putting up with the teenager phase for a while longer ?

Just to add, he’s recently been shedding - could be that?

    Beardie acting up

Hi Guys, Just thought I’d get other people’s opinions. I have a beardie - about 7-8 months. Over the last week or so he has been going crazy in his viv, glass surfing and just generally sprinting around his viv. Equipment-wise I’ve got low humidity with about 40 degrees in his basking spot...

    Possible cut on beardie

Hey guys. Just a quick one, today I noticed what looks like a small graze on Tim with a small amount of what looks like dried blood. Is this normal? He may have done it jumping off his branch and bombing round his viv whilst on the hunt. He’s eating really well, very alert and active as always...

    Normal behaviour?

He’s roughly 4 months old so still young. I got him from a local place.

    Normal behaviour?

It’s very well known in the UK. Highly rated so I would be surprised if there’s any issues there. As I said it’s only been the last two days so would be surprised if the UVB has caused any issues. He’s eating really well - it’s literally just the last two days when he has to go back in his viv...

    Normal behaviour?

He normally does he’s just gone to bed earlier than normal. I’ve got a T8 Komodo uvb and a 100w basking bulb. The temps are spot on and went through my set up with my vet last week and all was good. I think he might just be in a bit of a mood today.

    Normal behaviour?

Hi all, this is only my third post on here so still learning. I just wanted to get peoples opinions on my beardies behaviour. He is normally really active and very inquisitive. Over the last couple of days he really does not like going back into his vivarium (I take him out for a good run around...

    Meet Tim the Enchanter

Hi all, new to this site but have to say how incredibly informative it’s been. A fantastic tool! Anyway, I though I would introduce Tim. He is about 4 months old and is generally a lovely natured little dude.

    New beardie set up

Thanks for the reply. It’s just standard wood chip. It’s fairly chunky and seems too big to ingest - I got it from a reptile specialist and my vet also mentioned it was fine. Is it easier to just remove the wood chip and stick with the reptile carpet? It’s a Komodo T8 uvb 10. And as you...

    New beardie set up

Hey guys. So I’m a newbie on this site and I’m hoping my image upload has worked! So I’ve recently adopted a lovely 4 month old beardie named Tim. This is his set up. I’ve got the warm end and cool end - I use an jnfared gun to monitor the temp. He’s got a hide to the right. I covered half of...
