I have about 15 box turtles. I've had box turtles all my life, on and off. They're really cool. I love your enclosure! I intend to build a new enclosure at some point. This aviary won't work on its side because the floor doesn't have much integrity. Thanks for getting back to me.. Best, Gina

Hi! Thanks for your reply! I guess they'll stay in the aviary. I'm going to attempt to attach some photos of the turtle enclosure and the aviary..not sure if I know how to do it. .

Hi! I have two beardies who are currently housed in a large aviary. I would like to transfer them to a different enclosure which is surrounded by a 6 foot painted block wall, a 4 foot cinderblock wall (no holes) and two outside walls of my house. This enclosure is uncovered and currently houses...

    Not Eating/Age?

Thank you! I will get some pics of the aviary to you tomorrow. He doesn't seem to be brumating as he is still fairly active. He looks ok, but feels pretty light if I pick him up.

    Not Eating/Age?

I have a rescue beardie that I adopted about 10 years ago. He lives with another (female) in an outdoor aviary in the Arizona Desert. They have plenty of shade, a huge wading pool and all the sunshine you could ask for. I also shower them with the hose about 2-3 times a week in the summer. I...

    Laid eggs IN WATER

AH..so sorry I didn't update. I tried to incubate the eggs, but sadly, they were not viable.

    Laid eggs IN WATER

Thank you! I'm treating them as though they're fertile. Time will tell--this is my first go; I wasn't even sure if my beardies were opposite genders!

    Laid eggs IN WATER

I came outside to see that my beardie had laid her eggs IN the WATER dish (about 2-3) inches of water. They seemed ok (it's my first time) so I followed incubation directions. Has anyone had this happen? What was the result? I can't find it anywhere on the Internet.
