i notice when i let my bearded dragon out to play, i think he over excites himself just a little, he runs around all four corners of my room and then loves to get a good running start towards my bathroom where he slides on my bathroom floor...i make sure to keep my bathroom and bedroom clean...

thats great! i'm glad shes eating worms. but yea mine is like that too he doesn't care for them in his food dish he likes me to hand feed. which i don't mind it allows me to bond with him.

Ok so I woke up this morning flicked on Yuri's light as usual fixed him up some grub and he usually poops after 15 mins in his day light. i came back in with his food and nearly dropped his food dish on the floor. his poop was red and runny. I was thinking oh no no no don't be blood thats not...

indeed mine made a mess on me i brought home some wax worms and he knew i had them and got in my lap while i was trying to get some out and tipped the container of them over and they spilled out onto the ground and he gobbled them up. I was like ok dude thats it for wax worms for the next month =/

sounds like a wonderful idea! make sure to give your dragon a few so they get the taste for them with the wiggling method. i like using wax worms for that, wax worms are like crack to dragons. just don't feed regularly they are high in fat and not much nutrition.

indeed, I don't think hes ever going to change his ways but as long as he trusts me and i continue to love him, no one matters :D i didn't take him in for others to enjoy i took him in to give him a good home and befriend him :P

pet stores will sell you garbage if they can make a dollar off it, never listen to them, heck never even buy from them if you can help it. only an actual reptile store or an experienced breeder can tell you what he really really needs. meal worms are ok in moderation when they are adults, but...

I've tried that as well, even with big chunks he still has trouble grabbing anything but his plants. he just treats all food like a cricket hah.I'll keep trying new things, and he still is a fat boy so it's not like hes not eating, just... takes him longer then others.
