Yeah thanks,i have to feed him one by one though cuz he is spoiled rotten and won't eat them if i just put some in his bowl.i think alot of reason why is cuz their not alive and don't move so when i drop them in there they bounce and he gets them.

He loves them.seems he can't get enough.They also had grasshoppers and big white catapillars.Wanna try them but not sure if he can have.

Has anyone ever fed their BD dragonfly larvae? I can't get locust or roaches here and i went to the local pet store and they told me to try the larvae.Their pretty big,but he loves them.Just haven't heard much about them or see anybody talk about it on here.Just wondering.

Ivomec can be used for worming but mainly used in dogs and cats.Even then if the dose is slightly off it can be dangerous.The Ivomec that vets use down here (which might be same for all) is used for cattle thats why dosage, even on dogs and cats,is very small and has to be very accurate.

How old is he?

Yeah i think i'll try that first cuz the way she did it,she held the spatula in his mouth to keep it open and he didn't like that one bit.He turned jet black until she was done

Too bad they wouldn't sell him,but the pet store around here has one his head is 4 inches wide and 23 inches long. He was huge!My little boy said he was glad Weegie wasn't that big cuz he was scary looking that big.I thought he was cool.He was selling him for $400.

How old and big is he?

Weegie does all the time when out of cage when he is looking around at everything.He went to vet today and got a clean bill of health other than a prasite so if he doesn't keep closed all the time just random probally just fine.

Took weegie to vet today.Weighs a whole half a pound :mrgreen: Anyways,they fond protozoa in his stool so now he's on Flagyl.Vet demonstrated how to open his mouth and medicate him.She took one of those plastic spatulas like for cake icing and pryed his mouth open then took syringe and put down...

Weegie went to the vet today and got a fecal and tested positive for protozoa and they gave him Flagyl at a tenth of a cc every three days for 21 days.The dosage for panacur should be a tenth of a cc or 0.1 per pound if i'm not mistaken.How much does the little guy weigh?

Does he keep it closed all the time?Cuz mine will close it when he is looking around off and on but usually has both open.

The main thing is a fecal to make sure he has no parasites,and just an over all exam to make sure he looks healthy cuz he's never been.
