He's crazy about strawberries. My sister was handing him a piece the other day and he just couldn't contain himself, he launched towards her and bit onto her thumb right along with the strawberry! I'm trying to ease off the bugs now, at least a little. How many live meals do you think he should...

Finally starting to put on some weight after a diet adjustment! Coming up with different salad combos every week or so is... kinda more fun than I expected. This week's menu: collard greens and bell pepper, topped with strawberry and a butterworm!

When Noot was a baby, I always would wet his worms before feeding them to him so he could get water that way, because he hated (and still hates) taking a bath. Now he eats more vegetables and bigger, juicier worms, so I don't really have to do it anymore, but that's what helped for me.

My beardie was my first reptile pet and he has changed the way I think about reptiles in general. I find caring for him and hanging out with him and watching him grow to be very rewarding. I did kinda rush into getting one, and have had to quickly learn as I go while also spending more money...

Just saw my first head bobs out of Noot! Guess my baby is growing up!

I have a young beardie on bsfl and he's always eaten 50 or more per feeding. He's crazy for them! This past week I've been adding a couple butterworms or hornworms to his meals and he LOVES it, he'd probably eat them all if I let him.

Well, Noot's first poop after installing the new uvb was smooth and absolutely worm-free! I guess it was an issue with that, but it's time to upgrade to bigger worms and other bugs anyway. I can't believe how much he's growing! Thanks to everyone for sharing your thoughts with me.

Noot had been getting kinda frosty-looking for a while, and finally yesterday I came home to this Plus a ton of flaky bits on the tank floor!

I got mine from a Pet Supplies Plus. I'd never heard of it before, but one opened up near me last fall and I love it! The employees at my location are great, and one in particular owns beardies and other reptiles himself. The cages and tanks for all their animals are always clean. Seems like...

My Noot usually likes to sleep on top of this little Buddha thing I have in there, or on the fake plant. Every now and then he'll sleep under one of the plant's leaves, too. Pretty soon he'll be too big for either of those things! Only every now and then will he fall asleep right where he is.
