I have read that they eat a ton more crickets than my little guy does, but keep in mind that this guy is TINY. He's less than a month old, so 5 crickets actually makes me feel I'm over feeding him. The crickets are large, too (smaller than the space between his eyes, but big enough that I wonder...

Sadly, in spite of all my care and extra precautions, Shiloh didn't make it through the day yesterday. :( I asked my husband to check on her one last time before we went to bed, and he found she had crawled back behind her food dish and died. It was really sad, we held a little funeral for her...

I took her outside to sit in the direct sunlight for about 30 minutes (holding her to keep her warm, so she didn't get cold). She opened her eyes and even tried to run around a bit! I also have been giving her the Repta-aid every day, and I think that's helping a lot. If she was stressed by the...

I opened it completely- so there aren't any panes to stop the sunlight :D . She's just laying there with her head down and her eyes closed in the sunlight/lamplight. I hope she can make it!

Oh, thanks so much for the head's up! I found that if I open the window, a shaft of direct sunlight goes onto their basking spot. They're both there right now, so I think it will help. I've gotten her to drink the recommended dose of the Reta-Aid, but I had to use a toothpick to get her to open...

I did mention it before, but it seems to be being missed- 1. I am dusting all her crickets with calcium powder. 2. She poops daily. 3. The light I'm using claimed to be both UVA and UVB. Maybe it's not good enough and I should get a better one, I think. It wasn't anywhere near $30-$90, so it...

Thanks! I'll try that tomorrow and see if it can help at all.

I moved their rock closer to the lamp (they are about 1 and a half feet away from the light). it's 75 watts, but I don't remember the brand and I can't find the box. It was orange and black and green...if that helps at all. Do you think she's too cold? The humidity is about 43. I feed them...

I just got 2 beardies 2 weeks ago, they are VERY small- only about 6 in. from head to tail. One seems very healthy, he's getting nice and plump and is very alert etc. He's just starting to shed. The second one is really struggling. She ate less than the other at the very first anyway, but now I...
