Napoleon hasn't been eating much for nearly 2 months. 2-4 dubias every other day or so, and nearly no greens (unless I withhold dubias). She still eats 2-3 ml baby food 2-3 times a week from syringe too (I add multivitamins to the baby food). Napoleon LOVES the cranberry flavored acidophiles...

Way past time for an update on Napeolon's progress.... (I was very discouraged on my last post) I increased her baths to every day (or every other day max), with Betadine in the water, and religiously applied the anti fungal cream externally 2x a day (morning and night). Also, I started her...

Napoleon's YF worse, she's stopped eating greens, and she never leaves her hammock. Plus I think I have too many roaches... My god.... they are so prolific! I think I have about 4-5 females delivering per day. No lizard can eat that much. Ugggh bad update. I'm hot from sorting out feeders...

I wrap a moving blanket around the outside of my enclosure to insulate and help retain heat. My habitat is consistently 80-85 f and my dubias are breeding insanely. Maybe some insulation would bring your temp up slightly.

I shouldn't walk by them either... I want to take it home if it's healthy because it's so cute, or because it's sick and help it.

On a very positive note, after months of stressing that I wouldn't have enough dubias from my colony to solely sustain Napoleon, I have dubias coming out my ears. Not literally, thank god EWWWW! I took this on Friday night (June 7th, 2013). Two weeks ago the 2 yellow circles were completely filled in. The centers have became lighter.

15.5 inches long The bulges are soft, stretching out doesn't seem to affect them. They aren't there all the time, I'll pay more attention to them.

They won't die without the heating (unless it's really cold... but it's June!), they just won't breed. I think it would be fine for a couple of days until you get the mat in. I just taped a regular household heating pad to the side of mine.
