Okay. One more question. Hiei loves to climb, I'm planning on building him a little climbing area on the cool side with lots of branches. Does it matter how close he gets to the light if I use the T5? I think his tallest branch is about a foot tall.

I used blonde wood for the enclosure I built. I don't recommend it. Blonde wood is something like birch or pine that's been whitewashed to make it lighter. It doesn't hold stain well at all. All wood enclosures should be sealed, IMO. It helps protect the wood against moisture and staining.

Indiana is a huge state. I could recommend some but I'm in southern Indiana. Maybe give the part of Indiana or the nearest large city to you? That way you don't wind up with recommendations six or 8 hours away from you.
