I should note that today after my first post, Tim ate several super king worms :)

They are housed together, yes. I hand feed them, ensuring they each have the opportunity to eat as they wish. I'll probably need to separate them before long. They are about 7 months old. They have a ZooMed PowerSun 100w UV bulb for the day, and a red heat lamp for the night.

Some very good advice! Btw, when I said I "wiped" my beardie with a wet paper towel, I should have been clearer and said that I sort of dabbed at the spot, just enough for the poo to come off on to the towel without causing damage if the spot turned out to be something else. Rubbing at the spot...

Have you tried washing him? One of my beardies had a dark spot below his bottom lip. I tried wiping it with a wet paper towel and it came off; turned out to be a bit of poo :D I'm a new owner too, so if that doesn't work with your beardie, hopefully someone more experienced will drop in.

It was indeed shedding :-) Miga started shedding a big piece of skin on his head this morning, and more big pieces are coming off his hind legs.

Miga's head colouring has returned to its more rosey shade, and the legs also seem back to normal. I'd guess that rules out shedding.... I asked at the reptile store where we got our dragons, and they said that these kinds of colour fluctuations are common in the "citrus" Bearded variation...
