Thanks for all the possibilities. Now that I started this Harry Potter naming thing with the dragons I can't possibly name them anything else :D I love Harry Potter so it makes me smile when I think of my 'kids' with their names. I'm a dork...but I am ok with it :mrgreen:

You are right :D Sadly, my Hermione just died (she was a very tough dragon to keep...was always so timid and never adjusted well...and wouldn't eat), which is why I got another one at the show. I do really want a "Hermione" to keep the boys company but might have to settle for a Ginny...or...

I am in Stamford. I got two 36x18x13 (40 gal long). I had priced them around here in pet stores and the cheapest I found was $80...but mostly $100-120....at the show they were $64...so definitely pays to get them at the show.

Hi and Welcome to BD.org....and congrats on your new beardie!! I am in CT as well....and I was at the Westchester show too :D Sadly I didn't get any more beardies...course I have 4 so that is probably a good thing...but they are so darn cute!!! Just got some new houses for 2 of my boys.

Welcome and congrats on your new beardie! Very good looking!! And just so you know...they are very addicting :D But we love them :blob8: :blob5: My parents live up in Maine...about an hour north of Portland.

My babies do that as well. Even with the phoenix worms as well. It is weird...some days they get discouraged when they miss one and will then go on their branch and just watch them...and some days they get more aggressive. Apparently they have mood swings too :D

I have used them with my babies....and just left a small bowl in their viv with them...and I thought they never touched them...just crawled through them...but on many occassions I find them eating them throughout the day. Maybe it just takes them awhile to adjust to them. I have also gotten...

I have used the large crickets and the small cricket versions as a back up and my beardies love them. I think there is probably some controversy about using them at all...but I think they are ok. :D
