    My newest beardie

Thanks for all the possibilities. Now that I started this Harry Potter naming thing with the dragons I can't possibly name them anything else :D I love Harry Potter so it makes me smile when I think of my 'kids' with their names. I'm a dork...but I am ok with it

    My newest beardie

You are right :D Sadly, my Hermione just died (she was a very tough dragon to keep...was always so timid and never adjusted well...and wouldn't eat), which is why I got another one at the show. I do really want a "Hermione" to keep the boys company but might have to settle for a Ginny...or...

    Weird thing...

Just a weird thing....maybe some of you have had similar experiences?!?! I was giving all my dragons a little soak while I was cleaning out cages. And my Weasly (he is about a 1.5 years old) was in the sink while I was washing out his dishes....and he was having a grand ole time swimming...

    Question about a leopard gecko

As I have only had him for a few days...I am not sure what his life was before...bf answered a "free to good home" ad. Since we got him....he is set up in a 10 gallon tank at the moment....has an UTH...temps are about 75-80 on that side. I made a little hidey with damp paper towels for the...

    Question about a leopard gecko

Hi...I have 4 beardies which I love to pieces but I have recently acquired a leopard gecko....my bf saw an ad at the pet store for a "free to good home" for a gecko....and next thing you know we have a gecko. I know nothing about them and there doesn't seem to be as much info on the net for...

    Knocked silly??

Hi...I am a little concerned with one of my babies. I had put all of my dragons out side the other day to enjoy some sunshine...the babies were only out for about 15 minutes...but as I was about to grab one and bring him/her back inside...he/she jumped off the branch in the cage and threw...

    New from CT

I am in Stamford. I got two 36x18x13 (40 gal long). I had priced them around here in pet stores and the cheapest I found was $80...but mostly $100-120....at the show they were $64...so definitely pays to get them at the show.

    Misses one and gives up

My babies do that as well. Even with the phoenix worms as well. It is weird...some days they get discouraged when they miss one and will then go on their branch and just watch them...and some days they get more aggressive. Apparently they have mood swings too :D

    Juvenile dragon pellets

I have used them with my babies....and just left a small bowl in their viv with them...and I thought they never touched them...just crawled through them...but on many occassions I find them eating them throughout the day. Maybe it just takes them awhile to adjust to them. I have also gotten...

    Canned crickets

I have used the large crickets and the small cricket versions as a back up and my beardies love them. I think there is probably some controversy about using them at all...but I think they are ok. :D
