How do I look after calci-worms?

No worries I definately won't feed them s***! I put some salad leaves and carrot in there and they seem to be just lying underneath using it as shelter! Just a bit dissapointed that I got the wrong size because they weren't cheap! I may as well feed them to little Tidus, they'll make a...

How do I look after calci-worms?

Hello. I ordered some calci-worms (pheonix worms), I ordered the size small because I thought my baby beardie wouldn't be able to manage the larger size. Anyway they arrived today and they're tiny!! not even worth feeding to him yet! I want to grow them up to a bigger size and then try him with...

Dino's YF... Rest Easy my Lil' Friend :'(

Oh yes, we have this F10 in the UK! It is the one that my vets recommend. I use it to steralise my vivarium when I am cleaning it out. I'm so sorry to hear about Dino's infection :-( The thought of possibility of euphanasia is really not nice, I know! My first BD was diagnosed with leukemia and...

They tend to change colour depending on their mood and whether they're hot or cold. For example Drake my last beardie was a hypo-red. Most the time he was orange-brown colour. When cold he would be dark brown, almost black! Once he had a stressful time at the vet and he puffed up his beard and...

Is Butternut Squash a good daily staple feeder?

hoeseG - My little Tidus has his crickets dusted with calcium/vitamin powder. Then I make him a lovely nutritious cricket salad :D He tends to pick out the crickets, but always manages a few leaves too! I'm also going to try him on small calci-worms. I've never bought these before but heard...

Is Butternut Squash a good daily staple feeder?

Niveus - How long have you had him for? Is he losing weight/getting thinner? Are his poos looking normal? Do you bath him? By the way are those meal worms in his dish? If so its highly recommended that you stop feeding them those as the tough shells are hard for a baby beardie to digest.

Is Butternut Squash a good daily staple feeder?

Anyway I did a bit of reading and research and I think the vet's caresheet might be wrong about butternut squash! Substances that reduce calcium availability are oxalates and high phosphorous content. Butternut squash has neither of these :D

My last dragon was over 20 inches, but he just had a really long tail and average body size. A german giant would be over 600g typically.

She is a very beautiful dragon! She reminds me of my last dragon Drake. She has some citrus colour, but I'd say she is also quite hypo-red too.
