So I just had to clean the dead crickets out of the enclosure I keep them in and that was the last straw. I hate crickets. I have a baby beardie, can he still eat dubias? And what do I do with them when they get too big for him to eat? Also how do I convince my mom to let me have a colony lol

I’ve had my beardie for almost 3 months, and he hasn’t grown yet. I’ve had a reptisun t5 10.0 on him for about 5 days. I listened to the pet store employees and had a compact on him before. Should he have grown by now? Or will 5 days not show that much of a difference? The temp on the warm side...

The lights are super bright now. Should I get another ceramic heat emitter instead so it’s not too bright?

Are red lights okay for beardies during the day? I have a ceramic heat emitter at for at night but my room is really cold so I have to use both the lights in a dual dome to keep the tank warm. Oh okay. He’s had it for a couple of weeks and he has been winking, so I just wanted to be sure

I have a reptisun compact right now. I ordered a reptisun 10.0. It’s pretty close to a stick he likes to bask on, but I don’t have an exact measurement. I moved it because I heard it hurts their eyes, so it’s not directly on top of his basking spot anymore.

So today I found out that compact UVB lights aren’t good for beardies. I had one on my beardie and I just ordered a new one that’ll be here by the 4th (I think). What do I do for this week? Do I just leave the compact on him and hope for the best? Or do I turn it off? Thank you!!
