Change in behavior, is this normal?

I use the infra-red thermometer to check the temp. Oh boy yea I probably should get a new lay box ready. The last one we got set up for her, our cat decided that it was his litter box, meh.

Her temperatures are normal for what I have been keeping them at.

Change in behavior, is this normal?

Yea, I changed her UVB after she woke up from brumation in February. Her poops look like they normally do, haven't seen anything different about them. I haven't seen any digging behavior, I read that when they want to lay eggs they will do a lot of digging.

Change in behavior, is this normal?

So my girl is about 2 and a half years old now. She came out of her last brumation back in February. She was her normal self, basking eating, glass surfing, running around the house when she is out of her cage. Lately however she will be spend about 3 days behaving like that. Then she will...

Yes, that is how it is currently set up. Thank you, I really didn't know much about the 5.0 so I wanted to ask about it before I actually did it. I will move the uvb closer to her basking light, then will probably get another lamp and 10.0 for the other side as she does like to be on the other...

Hi all. I am just wanting peoples input before I do this. My girl is in a 40 gal cage. I have a tall lamp that I use a reptisun 10.0 uvb light and put in the middle of the cage. On one side of the cage I have a dual lamp that just has her basking light in it above her log. The 10.0 uvb is...

    Spring Fever?

My girl had come out of her brumation a couple of weeks ago and for the past several days she has been so wild. Glass surfing pretty much all day when she is in the cage. We are constantly taking her out and just putting her back in to warm her back up after being out for so long. How long...

    After brumation surprise

So after the last bath I gave my girl she had decided she is done brumating. Today she was out of her cage running all over the house, checking things out and exploring. After some time running around I decide to pick her up and hold her. Shortly after I picked her up she moved to my arm...

    Black tinted skin during brumation

Alright, thanks Cooper. I was thinking that it was probably normal, but wanted to make sure.

    Black tinted skin during brumation

This is my girls first brumation and I was wondering if this is normal or not. I get her out atleast once a week to give her a bath to hydrate her. When I get her out her skin has a black tint to it all over. During the course of the bath it fades, and once I get her out of the bath she is...

Help - my beardie has stopped eating :(

Your welcome. There are very few people that would even suggest using any kind of substrate. Most people will say don't use any at all just because of the chance of the substrate causing impaction. The best is using like a felt carpet, tiles, and such like that. Nothing that is small...

Help - my beardie has stopped eating :(

Also, another thing. It is really not a good idea to use a substrate in their housing, even if you feed them elsewhere. Bearded Dragons like to lick their surroundings and with that licking they could end up digesting some of the substrate.

Help - my beardie has stopped eating :(

First start by running your finger down his stomach. If he is compacted you will feel a bump where he is compacted. If you do not feel a bump, then it may just be that he is going into brumation. Before going down for their sleep, they will completely stop eating to make sure that their...
