I'm currently on a month and half vacation away from home and my boyfriend just moved so we were internet-less until 5 minutes ago.
I hate to have to give that news but she passed two weeks before my trip (I left the 13th of Oct.) I don't know of what she died, she just seemed to keep...
Just an update, she's still alive!
The swelling in her limbs went down dramatically but she's still very skinny. I take her out in the yard for sunbaths.
I feed her a bit less and divided throughout the day, instead of giving her 15 crickets within 60 minutes, I give her one every 10 minutes...
I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have noticed, but I can spoil my Dragon and buy too many tarantula's because of his wallet so I rather not risk him projectile :puke: everywhere haha.
Ah hum except for the turnip, it all looks like lettuce to me, I'll write it down and get someone that works at the...
Yes boss, no beating people with sticks of any size - promise! Even if I want to; I'm tiny and as threatening as an angry Whinnie the Pooh.
The vet gave me liquid calcium and vitamin paste (which they make "custom" for different lizards, so I'm not 100% what it is, but when I started giving it...
Hahaha! I'm actually laughing out loud at the vent misunderstanding haha. I didn't even think they might absorb water from there more than orally, I just bathe her in warm water to clean her and help the digestion.
And I thought you meant dumping loads of water through the cage on the lizard...
Excellent point on the Baytrill (or Baytril). I will still clean her with the other stuff but keep her away from any antibiotics.
I give her water through a syringe before/during and after meals, I didn't give her baths often either, just to clean her and help her digest every 3-4 days...
Sorry to bump the thread I just didn't want to flood the forum with a new one.
The water rehabilitation is really not working.
Giving her regular baths is hard enough.
When I put her in the water (even with a towel or foam piece) she panics and wiggles like hell. She's super scared the...
I'll try the toothbrush, mean while I'll do very mild saline solution rinses after she's done eating and see from there. I saw pictures of mouth rot and it doesn't look quite like that; I will call the vet nonetheless.
The toothbrush might be a bit rough, I'll try to find a super soft baby...
I'm not sure if it's much, I didn't start rehabilitating her in water yet, but before I went to work yesterday (I wake up when everyone goes to bed, and I go to sleep when people usually get up) and I saw she semi held herself up.
The front of her body wasn't touching the ground! She kind of...
